Derek Ong is the founder of Tipsy Collective, a multi-concept F&B holding group.

Seeking to present hospitality uniquely through a series of thoughtful concepts, the passionate founder created the Tipsy Collective, and the brands under the group were born and built to bring joy and happiness with carefully curated elements of live entertainment, gourmet food and premium drinks in unique spaces. Under Derek's management, Tipsy Collective's first brand and outlet Tipsy Penguin, became one of the most sought-after restaurant and bar destinations in the east side of Singapore. He has also achieved an incredible feat by breaking even within 5 months of opening, and currently operates 8 outlets across the island.

With a strong calling and passion for the F&B industry, Derek advises aspiring entrepreneurs to take the importance of building a healthy work environment as a people-centric investment.
