Started off as a home based business, Sinful Cakes is a fun and young Muslim-owned patisserie that serves the finest selection of dessert treats in town. Owned by the trio Raimy Ismail, Ivan Chua, Lionel Tay, the halal bakery serves an array of Instagrammable bakes that are highly raved, especially for its artisanal macaroons which are often sold. Their creations are often inspired by the local scene and were given quirky names that are loved by many Singaporeans, which is something the trio takes pride in as they continue to stay true, connected and relevant even after many years of being in the F&B industry. A piece of advice from the founders is to “never lose focus on your goals and vision even when everything is going against you, and never doubt yourself because you are the only one capable of realising it”.
