Adrian Ang

Better known as “Xiao Ming” on screen, Adrian Ang is the co-founder of Singapore’s leading comedy content platform SGAG. It all started in 2012, when Adrian and his co-founder, Karl Mak, created the first ever meme inspired by the devastating news of McDonald’s discontinuing their famous curry sauce. The relatable meme went viral shortly after and they took it as a sign to create even more comedic content catered to the local market. The success of SGAG eventually led to the inception of Hepmil Media Group, which now houses digital brands and overseas branches like MGAG, PGAG, SGEEK and Hempil Creators Network. Taking pride in building a positive, sustainable and collaborative creative ecosystem, Adrian believes that this is the place where creators are able to turn their passion for content creation and entertaintment into proper careers.

“Dream big, start small. But most of all, start” is an advice Adrian has for all aspiring entrepreneurs.
