Joyce Chua

Joyce Chua founded Ko & Pops by PrepEasy, a dried goods business offering Asian and local-inspired healthy oatmeal cup flavours. Inspired by her family’s mom-and-pop shop, Joyce wanted to modernise dried goods and reintroduce them as healthy and convenient food for everyone to enjoy everywhere and every day. Started just last year, the brand has been steadily growing and even got selected by Singapore Management University’s Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship as an incubantee for their programme.

“The difficult part about starting a business isn't just starting it, it is finding the drive to continue working on it even when there are so many challenges,” says Joyce. “There will always be things to worry about and it will never be smooth sailing, but as long as you start, you'll learn how to manage them along the way. So do first, worry later.”
