Cofounders, Good Totes

Daniel Yap and Yoyo Zheng

Abandoning the regular 9 to 5 corporate life, co-founders Daniel Yap and Yoyo Zheng decided to step out of their comfort zones and venture into becoming their own bosses with their established brand, Good Totes. The business started just last year, and despite the relatively short duration, the founders have been through many surreal moments with it, along with their expanded team of great and talented individuals. Good Totes received a lot of love with its debut collection being sold out within minutes, and the founders have seen the brand’s growth since then, with snaking queues formed at their first ever pop-up booth.

With the brand’s ultimate mission to create good looking and functional tote bags for their customers, the founders hope to inspire their customers to have a sense of curiosity and wanderlust, step out of their comfort zones and explore new places. They also resonate with the struggles aspiring entrepreneurs face, and believe that the hardest part of any project is starting it. Their piece of advice to them would be to “just take the first step and see where your dream takes you!”
