Best known for his role in the Singaporean original movie series “Ah Boys to Men”, Maxi Lim has shown that he is more than just an actor when he dabbled into the business world and founded Singapore’s first ever fried chilli snack brand, EAT MY LJ. The brand received praises for being undeniably addictive and delicious, and has its snacks sold out within an hour for its weekly initial launches, with its best record standing at only 3 minutes. EAT MY LJ is also the finalist of the Asia’s Great Snack Challenge 2021 organised by Enterprise Singapore, where aspiring snack entrepreneurs like Maxi himself, are given the opportunity to turn their snack ideas into a reality. Maxi takes pride in his decision to take the risk of setting up a small F&B startup, and to be able to see the brand grow into where it is today. He believes that the most important thing for entrepreneurs is to take the leap of faith and get started with their businesses, because help and resources will naturally come along the way.
