Chris Chai

Chris Chai is a full-time practicing graphic artist and illustrator who graduated in 2013 from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He describes a successful artist with one word - freedom. Tying freedom to art is a rare case for many as it is difficult to balance both personal creative freedom and your client's needs.

Chris navigates the industry by putting all his dedication into each project, no matter how big or small it may be. Besides, requiring motivation to work will make the whole enterprise a little fragile. Hence, he links his motivation to purpose, compulsion and his reason for being, and he advises fellow artists to keep curating new work and never stop!
