William Chan

William Chan went from a zero to a hero when he ventured into the F&B industry and started his own business, Acquired Taste, that now houses successful restaurant brands and concepts such as Sommer, Poise, and Space. The founder started off his entrepreneurship journey with zero background and knowledge, and jumped right into it with only his passion for food and entertainment, as well as faith in trusting the whole startup process. William took his failures as learning points to move and grow further, and believes that the connection formed from working with people of different backgrounds and personalities is what builds a successful F&B concept. Through his experiences as a founder, a piece of advice he would like to give is to “be open to trying and failing, and be even more open to learning”.
